SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Anyone over the age of 19 must wear a wristband in order to be served wine.

NO SMOKING

No smoking is allowed on Montebello Park property. The Regional No Smoking By-Law enforcement will be in effect.

PARKING

FREE parking in all city-owned lots after 6 PM and on weekends!

LAST CALL

Last Pour will be at 10:30 sharp each evening. Last Call for bottle service varies.

  • 9PM September 15th, 16th, and 22nd

  • 7PM September 23rd

  • 4PM September 17th and 24th

NO GLASS

Wine must be consumed out of a commemorative acrylic glass, including those from previous years. No glass is allowed in the park. Wine glasses must have Festival logo and visible pour lines to be permitted.

BAG CHECKS

Please note that bag checks will be in place this year. Clear bags are recommended, where possible. Baby bottles and children’s snacks are allowed, though diaper bags are still subject to checks.

LOST AND FOUND

The Niagara Grape & Wine Festival will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items. Guests should contact the administration office regarding lost and found items at 905-688-0212.

NO CASH

Vendors will be using cashless, tokenless payment systems powered by Square. Cash or tokens will not be present or accepted on-site.

It is a violation of the Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario’s liquor laws to bring alcoholic beverages inside Montebello Park. Our event staff and security are committed to enforcing the liquor laws and alcoholic beverages brought inside the park will be confiscated. 

All guests, regardless of age, will be asked to show ID when purchasing alcoholic beverages and will be provided with a wristband. Wristbands must be visible when purchasing wine tasting and winery staff have the ability to ask for ID if they suspect someone wearing a wristband is not of legal drinking age. 

The NGWF staff reserves the right to deny admission and/or alcohol to anyone that is intoxicated or poses a hazard to public safety. 

Providing alcohol to minors and possession of alcohol by minors is a violation of the province’s liquor laws. Guests furnishing alcohol to minors and minors in possession of alcohol will be removed from the park. 

Anyone that appears to be under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol will not be permitted into the park. 

Security has the right to confiscate bottles should someone be drinking directly from them. 

Winery partners are strictly forbidden to give customers corks or screw tops. 

Please be advised that Montebello Park festivities and Discovery Pass events are only active during the weekends of the festival. Wineries are open throughout the week for tours and tastings.
